I'd like to welcome all the people that have taken the time to visit my website. NTHEWIND Photography has been a dream of mine for a while. I wanted a website to showcase my photography work and written articles.

Information about my latest photo project came from a good friend of mine,she had read about it in the local paper. This was an event that offered photo opportunities that was really different from anything I had ever done before;

The 10th Annual 'Parade of Ponds'

This was a self-guided tour of ponds that people have built in their yards. Sponsored by Carter's Nursery,Pond & Patio,Inc. For a modest $10.00 , with all proceeds benefiting the Jackson Madison County Humane Society, buys a ticket and a map to all the locations. This year there were 35 locations, more than enough to see during the two day event. I was in total awe and amazement with the backyard paradises the owners have created. I want to extend a special thanks to the people that opened up their special places for everybody to enjoy.

I've added a photo gallery for a special photographer friend of mine from Brazil, Fabio Arantes. I meet Fabio in Bolivia in 2004. He and I were on the Caravan together. With both of us being photographers it was only natural that we hooked up and became friends. MaryBeth and I visited Fabio and his fiancé Daniela in 2006. They were such great hosts and we did some really cool stuff that tourists don't normally do. Fabio has sent me some of his work over the years and I am very proud to have some of his images on my website. Here is a direct link to Fabio's Gallery.

I also have a section to highlight my trucking business... after all this is what makes my photography and web presence all possible!
